  13. Thanks for all the suggestions for upgrades to my A2000.

  15. Looks like I my budget can afford a C= A2620 board with 68881 and 4 MB and
  16. the newest ROMs.  I'll also be buying OS 3.1 (OS 4 should be out soon after
  17. I buy this ;-), a cheap HD and a Supra 28.8 modem.  Of course I'd rather get
  18. the A2630 (as some suggested :-) but it's overkill for my budget ($350 USD).

  20. My question is will there be any conflicts between the new  A2620 board and
  21. my GVP series II SCSI card with 4 MB.  How will the total 8 MB configure
  22. itself?

  24. My Amy:  I have an A2000 (rev 4.4) 1meg angus/OS 2.1/ GVP series II SCSI
  25. card with 4 MB and a 100MB HD (90% full and I have deleted alot already).  I
  26. also have a ReNo CDROM  which has been a great upgrade.  This system has
  27. been great for everything I've done so far but we all know its limitations. 
  28. I don't want to wait for a new low end machine in North America so I will be
  29. upgrading.

  31. An I/O board will have to wait.
  32. A graphics board will have to wait.

  34. Also how many colors will I be able to see the WWW in w/o a graphic board?
  35. Will I have to convert jpg's and gif's to iff in order to see them properly?
  36. In other words, will I feel like I need the 24 bit board after 1 day on the
  37. web ;-) ?  How much more will it cost me to get to 256 colors?
